Esquire Debuts New Episode on Facebook

What’s one way to gain a Facebook following? Try doing what Esquire Network recently did and debut your entire first episode on Facebook before it hits the household screen. When consumer brands launch on social media, their first goal is to start developing relevant content that their audience will be interested in. It’s social media 101: content marketing. What Esquire Network did was basically make a promise that their content would be worth their fans’ time, which is all a fan wants anyway, right? Instead of making irrelevant ‘shareable’ quotes or “Like this if you like TV” statuses, they recognized what people really wanted: more of their favorite television episodes. Personally, I’d LIKE any TV network that let me watch my favorite TV shows for free and first.
